Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell and Zoë Kravitz were spotted in Liverpool, England, filming ‘The Batman’ after production was halted on September 3 over Robert Pattinson’s positive Covid-19 test. Filming stopped for over a month as Pattinson recovered and the cast and crew in close contact with him quarantined for their safety.
“Following a hiatus for COVID 19 quarantine precautions, filming has now resumed on ‘The Batman’ in the U.K.,” a spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures said.
The Filming of ‘The Batman’ was earlier halted in March this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. This was the second delay for the big budget production which was scheduled for a June 2021 release before the delays. The film is now slated to hit the box office on March 4, 2022.
Zoë Kravitz’s look in a shiny black trench coat and matching headpiece, as Catwoman, created quite a stir on social media. Farrell reprised his role as The Penguin, with face scars and prosthetic wrinkles. Other actors in this high-profile production include Andy Serkis, Peter Sarsgaard, John Turturro and Jeffrey Wright.
Other high-budget productions such as The Matrix 4 , The Disney Plus series – The Falcon and the Winter soldier and Jurassic World: Dominion have also resumed filming.
